This number, 01675 594730, claims to be a company called 'Motor Assist', they do not ring for long & don't leave a message but when you ring it back its a recorded message with a man with a Scottish accent - saying the usual 'leave your name & number, & one of our Agents will call you back'. CLEARLY A SCAM - Number will be blocked

This is a broker scam number (www.ubroker.com). They push you to invest into loosing trades persuading you to put more money just to "beat a correction". If you do invest 100USD, then be prepared to have a bad trade which would eventually require more than 10000USD to cover up. This broker is not regulated and has false claims all over his site. All the numbers from this range 020794609xx are used by the same call centre dealing with insurance marketing - car accident. If you say you have had no accident, they mostly hang up the phone and that's it... I have been using the ShouldIAnswer mobile application from these pages, works fine, can stop such calls and also a range of numbers (very useful for call centres). No problems.

Automated ‘Shirley’ voice, yet again saying my IP address has been compromised in ‘several countries’, and they will turn my internet connection off in 48 hrs. They will of course give me a new IP address for free, and I should press 1 to be connected to a technician- which, of course, I didn’t do. Blocked.

This number keeps ringing. No message. Different time of day, week and weekend. Tried calling it back, message saying out of service, but still calls! Dreading phone bill in case they charged loads for me calling them! Don't pick up, block this number!

I don't have this no in my contact. I have received 4 insistant calls from the same area code withi 10 mins. Seems very suspect.. plz follow up & advise if u have investigated.
