I have had this number call me about once a day for the last couple of weeks. Each time I answer the line goes dead. I m assuming its an auto dialer and there s no agent available to take my call when the line connects. I have now barred them on my phone. Time wasters.
Fraud. Another BT scam call from a woman with Indian accent. Familiar voice from previous different numbers. When challenged, she started shouting and became abusive. The idea is to extort money from you and they will protect you online. I can see how some may be frightened and fall for this scam. So Be Warned And Don’t Respond.

Fraud- this number pretends to be from HMRC saying there’s an arrest warrant out for tax evasion. Do not press 1, just hang up and ignore it. HMRC are working with fraud action UK to get to the bottom of this. Share with your relatives especially the elderly who will be frightened by this.

I asked what was name of person she was wanting to speak to to which she replied does anybody else at that address drive. I asked her name of company telling her I wanted it to report them, she gave me it again.

He added my number and fingers crossed I won't be bothered again, although I've blocked their number anyway.
