CHECKING MY BANK STATEMENT I FOUND A DEBIT OF ?99.99 FROM A FREE TIME CD. I RANG THE BANK WHO WERE VERY HELPFUL AND FOUND OUT THAT IT WAS FROM A PURCHASE I HAD MADE ABOUT A MONTH EARLIER. 01217815070. SCAM. This was a nice sounding girl who was asking about a car accident that was not my fault. I asked who their company was and they didn t respond. When they repeated themselves was with the same tone and internation which showed to me that this was a recorded message. It was obviously someone pressing buttons to get you to answer their questions. When I caught their process (proud I realised this so quickly) and asked them to remove me from their records they hung up on me.

Call centre stated they were a specialist in something or other, I blocked the number

I phoned the number back and the message was - this number has not been recognised so I take it that it must be spam
