I am receiving calls from 01179103 which would indicate the Bristol Area, but appears to be an invalid number. Does anyone know who this could be?

A woman with a Middlesborough accent tried to interest me in solar panels, saying she was from The Energy Reduction Company. When I asked how she got my number she said it was on their database & when I told her I was registered with TPS she said she d get it removed - but I doubt it as I ve been called by this number before, though not giving the same company name. I have reported them to TPS.

This showed as a Birmingham based call, did not answer. I know no one in Birmingham

I think the chap said he was calling from Instant Law and was calling about the "not your fault accident claim" in January of lat year. I said he had the wrong number to which he said it might be to do with a window replacement claim. He could not give me a car registration or the name of an insurance company so I told him I couldn't help him. He hung up.
