Recorded message using a dialer appearing to come from this number 07742333123 claiming to be Amazon Prime and if I didn't speak to operator then your annual subscription will auto anew the following day for £79.99 It's a scam and Amazon do not contact people in this way. If you have given any bank or payment details please contact your bank immediately

A man kept asking the same question again and again. I thought perhaps he was drunk or on drugs. I asked him to remove my number from the database. He hung up. An hour and a half later, another man rang from the same number, after I told him what had happened and what I thought of his colleague, he asked if he could just try to find me a cheaper quote for my utilities. I asked if all their staff are incapable of understanding the English language. At which point he told me he would remove my number.

yes, as per all the other comments, this is Addenbrookes appt automated reminder. Rang my home and mobile several times but of course, no message. I have been waiting for an appointment time and date to come through and GP has chased on several occasions. The message stated it was a reminder that I had an appointment on (date and time given and Department). I had to keep pressing option to hear again as not surprisingly, I didn t have my diary to hand. I eventually accepted but of course I do not have

These people pretend to be calling from Microsoft, telling you they have detected a virus on your computer, and if you don t let them help you and follow their instructions your computer will break down, they generally call you back if they feel you fit their demographic, which is elderly and vulnerable. They want access to your computer, do not tell them anything, report them.
