Get a very casual message using whatever name you are using on gumtree telling you youre paypal account has been hacked and to log in to change your pass.Like any sort of financial service would be running their security through a mobile.What made it more amusing for me is if they bothered seeing the third line of the ads they got my number from theyd see in large letters NO PAYPAL

I rang the number back it’s about PPI saying I had money back in 2019 I told the lady I didn’t receive any money and to remove me from their database She started to raise her voice asking why would they do that when I had received money! I told her I had NOT received any money and to remove me from database. She started to speak I cut her short and said these calls should be removed remove me immediately and hung up. Received a call from Smart Media advising our business had paid for their services to list on Google Maps in July 2019. Complete bull as payment has never been made to this company (or anything similar), the date simply is when our business was incorporated so freely available information. I politely advised they were clearly dodgy and hung up.
this was from one of several that I have received in the last 3 hours on my mobile. As I do not give out my mobile number except to family how did they get my number?
