The person knew my name and address BUT the wrong postcode - it was way off! As I said it was the wrong postcode they asked me for mine which I refused to give and told them as they had the wrong information I was not the person they needed.

Calls to our (call screened, not on BT) number from 0800 044 5265. No message left, multiple attempts on multiple days. Calling that 0800 number says they are Stellar a partner of BT, and to call BT on 0800 028 2272. Don t bother if you aren t on BT. They ll tell you "you aren t on BT, we have no record of you!". How do BT allow such a number to be allocated for fraudulent purposes. Why does barclaycard not find out who these scammers are and with whatever part of government that can, prosecute the offenders?

This number is harmless. Is simply the call back service for Chatordate chat line which allows female callers to access the service without paying connection charges from their mobile or landline provider.
