This phone number phoned stating my credit card had been used. No bank name was given. Checked as far as I can not used. There was no bank name given. Can only presume this is a scam. An 0141 number is not a usual scam number, will keep checking.
We had a phone call from this number claiming to be Sky. They were telling us that someone was using our hub and that they were going to send us a "security app" . When they couldn't tell us our Sky account number correctly, we hung up.

Beware Scammer and Hacker! Number used to replace my recovery phone on my Xiaomi account in an attempt to lock me out of my phone. Part of a larger problem where If I hadn't realised what was going on he could have potentially gotten into all my accounts locked me out of them too, then blackmailed me to release them. Guy purporting to be from’ car phone warehouse company’. Could hardly understand what he was saying - when I queried what he wanted, he hung up.
This number calls me every day with two or three times at about 10 minute intervals. They never leave any messages. Clearly they know that I would not wish to speak to them. They seem associated with another number 07482874785 which also calls each day with the same pattern and often one number makes its calls and is then followed 10 to 15 minutes later by the sequence from the other number.

I didn't do it but I did check with my accounts and it appears to be a scam. As they didnt say which Credit company either. Plus surely they wouldn't use a mobile phone either. They would use land line to ring from. Plus an email or text.

This is a scammer looking for money
I was called from this number approx. 5,00pm this evening, and answered to a recorded female message advising me that my Amazon Prime account had expired, and that a charge of £95 would be made to automatically renew it. As I do not have a Prime account, I did not listen any further to the message, which I suspect was going to advise me to press a digit on my phone, to speak to an adviser, from where details of my Bank Account would be required!! I hung up halfway through the message.
