Called me twice in 2 days but left no message. I called the number back & it was an answerphone stating it was from the County Court in London???? (Er, which one one love? There are several - nice attempt as a formal English accent though....). Apparently I've got a cheque for compensation waiting for me & I need to leave my name & address. Well, there are few numbers with same start and with different last 4 digits - which I assume are part of the same call centre - 845 286 1676, 845 286 8663, 845 286 8646 - all reported this week for multiple calling. Did someone answer one of those? Be aware not to call them back, these lines are for shared rates... This one seems to be the same case.

I received a call from 0800 389 0755...missed it so thought it was a client and called it back, voicemail stated it was Santander and they would call back. First issue I had with this is I don t or never have banked with Santander.vso I sourced the local branch number to enquire if someone had opened an account in my name or if there were any fraudulent activity regarding my name number. Fraud Got a phone call from this number. I answered the call and nobody answered for about 20 seconds. Then a very thick Indian accent said "Hello, this is Jenny from BT Openreach.....". I replied "No your not...your a scammer" and hung up. I know and live in this dialing code and there are no BT Openreach offices in this area. Given the accent and that it is BT Openreach (which I don't even use) I suspect this is an Indian based scam call centre.

I just received a call from this number, I answered and a man advised he was calling from EE to advise on offers and deals I can access as I have been with EE ‘a long time now’ (which isnt really true and wouldnt be necessary to say anyway). Then he went straight in to ask me for some details. I was unsure about discussing further so asked if he could call back another time.
