Received a message "Got your number in my phone, are you Jack?" Which creepily, I am. But coming on here and seeing others with the numbers shows it's clearly a scam.

ent call which is more worrying than a sales call. I tried to return this call but it was not accessible. The message was that I had rung a wrong number and I. My other phone there was no message just the bleeps to tell you it was not accessible. I won't bother with this I'll ring the police. This is utterly disgraceful and meant to worry the recipient.

SPAM Claimed to be my area energy advisor calling from Energy Hub. Very sophisticated robot caller trying to sell home insulation. Violated my TPS preferences.
The phone number is one used by Barclays but in my case certainly spoofed as they were after details that Barclays have said they would never ask for over the phone (DoB, Mothers maiden name etc.)

I just got a call claiming (falsely) to be from this number, claiming (again falsely) that it was BT Openreach (or something). When I politely declined, the caller said (as they hung up) "Fuck you, fuck you in the face". Which may well have been the only genuine thing about the call. Beware...pre-recorded message left on my answerphone about "money transfer service and to be aware of scams" very strange, do not reconize number. Consider this a scam.
After picking up the call, a recorded message to let us know the call is recorded played. Once over the line was dropped from their end. A call from "Go Pro services" was expected, perhaps this was a Go Pro service agent? The result of poor training perhaps?

Claimed to be from Virgin, calling about internet. Got increasingly frustrated with me when I said I didn’t recognise the number and would call Virgin myself. Didn’t believe the guy with Indian accent and I hung up when he wouldn’t go away. Scary as it sounded like a big call centre in the background and it would be easy to get sucked in. Hope everyone hangs up and karma catches up with what I believe are scammers.
