I had a call from this number and was instantly suspicious. I phone Lloyds (PhoneBank) number to be told that this number belongs to the Lloyds Credit Card Collection department (I had missed a payment due to personal circumstances) and they wanted their money. Like most people, I am suspicious of individuals whose language skills are a lot less than mine and have a heavy accent. However, I would ask if these guys are from the collection department before going into a personal/private details. I have sort

Unfortunately, I can not say much about this number, as you always hangs up on me. Almost every day I get up to five calls from this number. It will also leave a message on the answering machine.

caller of Asian descent introduced himself as Michael from Microsoft...an obvious scammer so rang off.
Spam claimed to be from legal team and kept asking about a fictional accident. Asked this chap numerous times to remove my number from list and not call again, but he kept ignoring me and just repeated his script over and over. One of the worse idiot callers I've had.

This number called me several times, but the call went silent. I called the number back (located in Shetlands) and I was put in to a queue which kept saying "Your call is important to us, please hold for the next available agent". After waiting for almost 4 minutes I hung up. This is probably another scam caller who has been banned from every other UK city so now they ve been forced to set up shop in the Shetlands. Automated call Ostensibly from BT, saying suspicious (or similar!) activity on my phone and internet, so will be closing them down. Press 1 ........ etc ! This is the second scamming call within a few minutes, but the other was from a mobile pretending to be from Amazon. The scammers are really active today!
