Very aggressive phishing call from Indian subcontinent. Phoned 6 or 7 times in one afternoon and very threatening, leaving messages about calling everyday.

I had two garbled messages from this number claiming to be from Hotpoint about my tumble dryer safety repair. I don t have a Hotpoint dryer. I called Hotpoint ( different number) and they said I am not on their database, so they don t know who was calling. My advice would be to call Hotpoint/Indesit direct!

First they called tried to confirm that the were speaking to the person they were calling for. Annoyingly they would read back my address. Then they would ask if they could do a short survey. another time they have an Indian accent and sometimes they have an English accent. Sometimes Indian man. The English accent one wanted to know if there was central heating in the house. she went straight into the question despite me telling her she had the wrong name and number. Cold calling is not the way to sell windows or home improvements. Especially when you are a victim of a crime where you re trying to deal with police and a useless phone call from an aggressive cold calling company. I wish people would stop selling other peoples phone numbers.
