I have just been called by this number - on answering I got a recorded message saying thanks for calling Freedom From Torture..
This person claimed to work for Currys pc world. Trying to get me to sign up for a new mobile contract. He knew my number but not my name. When I called him out, he was very abusive then hung up ..... Invalid number when I rang back.

Insurance SPAM This number and very similar numbers have been calling me daily for a couple of weeks. I have missed the previous calls but answered today. A very well spoken man said he was calling from some company (I didn't catch the name) to do with my Scottish Widows life insurance. Fraud Phoned by phone no 01916919437 told an adviser on property then went on about insulation.told her to Google her phone number and be advised she was a scammer .In such a hurry to see this info she put the phone down on me.

My policy is this - I never answer calls from private or with held numbers, and if a number shows up, but is not listed on my phone I still won`t answer the caller. My phone is for my use, not others to maybe scam call me.

This number called my mobile. I ignored it as number I did not recognise and they did not leave a message. I have not disclosed my mobile number to anyone I do not know. I suspect that they are dialling numbers to see if they get a response and that it is a computer dialling the number. If there is no response within a certain time it dials the next.

This is a scam number pretending to be Amazon UK. They pretended that i had mistakenly signed up for 'their' yearly subscription and stated i they were due to take 79.99 out of my account today if i did not cancel immediately. They stated that they could sort this out online and that I may be due a refund. I asked them to call back and contacted Amazon service desk who explained that they had never called me and that i was still subscribed on monthly terms. DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE ANY OF YOUR DETAILS.
Really annoying recorded message re unauthorised money taken from my account.
I keep being called from this number with one ring. I have now blocked it, as it's invading my privacy, and I'm concerned it's a scammer.
