These people called concerning PPI. I was foolish enough to reply STOP and it charged my 50 pence. Clearly, this is a scam and these people must be stopped before they de-fraud more users.

Bunch of scammers. They claim to be different debt collection companies, from different numbers. Been going on for years. You pick up, the automated call kicks in, leaving a message for someone who doesn t exist. In my case, they are always asking for someone called Mr Paul Roberts. Male voice, purporting to be relating to a police investigation to do with fraud and they are going to have to suspend my National Insurance number! Stopped the call at that point and hung up.

Just received a call from this number on my mobile. I answered and said "Hello?" whereupon the call was immediately disconnected. I don't recognise the number, but suspect some sort of scam or nefarious activity. Although the criminals mainly target my landline, some of them seem to have my mobile number.
Number appears on Phone Statement called at 12 noon. As I never use the landline during the day have no recall of making this call. Suspect it is not a true call.
Called today 26 Oct 16 and left no message. So glad I screen calls now. Hopefully, with sites like this, spam callers will die out.
