This number has called my home number more than once. When answering, after a short while the call ends. Maybe checking the number is valid? I suspect this is related to a spam or scam. When I call the number they do not answer.

Constant missed calls for a week. I answered and it was a polite lady from Vodafone trying to sell me something. She knew my name as I am a customer. When I said I was busy she said she will call back another time. This number does not appear on the Vodafone authorised numbers list although it is only one digit out from a lot of their numbers.
Received text message claiming to be from Royal Mail as I refused to pay £2.99 with link to reschedule delivery. This number called me. There was a bit of noise in the background, i said hello twice and then a male voice of what i would guess is south Asian descent said "do you love me?". I replied "What?" assuming i'd mis heard and he just repeated the same question so i hung up.

SCAMMER: Indian, female voice said that there had been illegal activity on my internet line. Said she was from BT and that somebody had conducted illegal activity and it was recorded on their server. Played a long for a little while then let the scamming witch know what she is.
