These people are 21st century robbers. They attempt to scam money out of people by scaring them. They ring up claiming that the individuals computer has a virus and charge them for cleaning the computer. Needless to say there is no virus.
"Mark from Windows Support" called me to tell me that my computer had been attacked by a virus. I was pretty sure at that point, because most of the time it is up to you to call the company if you have a problem with your computer and not the other way around. Anyhow, I figured I play along to see where this is going and they told me to click Start - run - cmd and then to type in a code that would give them access to my computer. SCAM receive numerous calls daily which they keep hanging up whether I speak or not. I called the number back & they are a Funeral Plan SCAM. I remember speaking to them a while ago when I told them I was not interested so now I am fed up with them ringing & hanging up. I blocked the number but they still ring from a similar number in the same office building in Manchester. Do not give them any info. They ask for your dob & address. It's a scam
