Automated call claiming to be from your internet provider which they dont name saying that your internet will be cut off in 24hrs if you dont press 1 , ive had this 4 times this morning started about 7am from 4 different numbers including 1 which was withheld. DO NOT PRESS 1 I think this is a scam

Some phoned my mobile phone not who it was
Government ‘type’ Recorded message. Caller was a man and speaking in a very English urgent alarming voice. Informing me of multiple fraudulent use of my National Insurance number ant that unless I pressed option 1 now proceedings could be taken against me also with cancelling my access to my accounts etc.. or something along those lines. Luckily I took the call on my iPad so wasn’t able to press option 1. Which is just as well as I tried to thinking it was genuine at the time. It would frighten many.
