The point of the scam is to find gullible people who will believe what they say. They are crooks who once they find a victim will ask them for personal details and /or credit card/bank details "So we can proceed with our refund to you" They then commit identity fraud or empty your bank account. SCAM The user pretends to be someone he is not. He harvested a picture off the internet to join a dating site. When confronted with this fact, he became abusive.
Sounded like an Asian call centre. The callers voice was faint and I cold not understand what they wanted. Since this is a mobile number and the caller appeared to be in a call centre I consider it suspect.

Fake Windows Technical Services call, as usual wanted to show me all the viruses and malware on my computer. Just caled from this number..dont know it didnt answer..checked and blocked..28th jan.9.15am...
This is the 3rd time this number has called me this month. The first 2 times the caller left a voice mail message to call them back. The caller was female and said her name was Lisa or Louisa, couldn t really tell as they spoke so quickly it was difficult to understand. No details of why they were calling. I did not call them back. The third call as soon as I answered they hung up. Note: If you don t answer their call they leave a voice mail, unfortunately at my expense!!!

Person with an Asian accent (after a delay) introducing himself as Peter Thompson purporting to be from BT claimed someone in America was using my IP address and accessing emails . Asked what devices I was using to access the internet. The scammer wasn t afraid to argue back aggressively when I told him in no uncertain terms I knew this was an attempt to hack in to the internet.
