I received a call from this number when I answered it it hung up, when I Google the number I could only find that it was from the Yorkshire area

From the other comments, o gather this is Christians Against Poverty which is a charity I support. Not sure why they called me but I know they re trustworthy :)

Text body reads: "We have been trying to contact you regarding your accident, we now have details of how much you are due, just reply CONFIRM and we will call you back". Texting back with CONFIRM (or anything) will probably just let them know your number is in use so they can sell it. Don t reply.

Gave her name and the name of the company then said they were asking householders to take part in a survey, at which point I interrupted her with a two-word response. The thing is I m registered with the TPS and shouldn t receive calls like this.

Spoke to my father, said she was from a company that blocks his nuisance calls. He has no such service? (Is there even one other than BT called protect?) I suspect she was a scammer as we have had similar spiels from callers in the past one of which was desperately trying to get Dad to "confirm" his bank details.

I just dont answer any calls from numbers far away. I have no need to talk to anyone. This number calls daily(blocked but still try) so its obvious its junk.

Sounds like a busy call centre in the background a female asked for my wife I said shes not in, shes at work, can I help you? so they just hung up with no type of explanation. Arrogant and obviously up to something they haven t got time to talk about.

Number has called a few times over the week. When I answer they immediately hang up.

this number calls my mobile at least 3 times a day and has been ding for months. it s a PPI claim back company allegedly - I have just claimed back my own PPI and it has cost me zero pounds - don t bother with these idiots

Fraudulent - same pattern as other posts - asks for quote. Went into branch and paid a cheque in for much more than the order value then requested reimbursement of difference. We did not fall for it because we smelt a rat. Total scammers DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE
