It’s an automated call that calls repeatedly. It claims they are going to cut off the internet due to illegal activity. It’ll cut off the internet in 12 hours unless you follow the instructions by pressing the keypad. Obviously a scam.

I have been getting nuisance calls from The Money Group for about a year now, it is getting to the point of harrassment. The calls are normally from 01423 which I believe is in Harrogate. However, I have now started to get them from 01989 numbers in Ross on Wye. No matter how much I ignore the numbers I get about 6 or 7 calls per day. 03301596562 - From Claims Help Desk - Wanting to talk about an Old PPI Claim with my Bank. I asked them what the PPI Claim was, and she said "Oh my god". I said if I had an old PPI Claim can you tell me what it is? She then said I had an indication on her system that I may have one? I asked again what it was? She said I was just going to give you some information and then hung up saying to her colleague, "Oh my god". She obviously wasnt used to or expecting to answer any questions.

Beware you will pay a premium to ring this number and it isn t an 070 number!
