Consumer research....and as like all these type of operations...when someone actually answers the phone at the customer end, the call is put through to an operator...if there is one available, hence the silence if one is not immediately there. They do state, if calling the number back, to leave your name and number to remove you from the database, which I have....so we shall see if these "nuisance" calls do actually stop!

It?s the West Midlands police, when your involved in a case of being a witness to anything like theft from a store. They may ring you if they need evidence or a statement over the phone.

They call my company number and left a auto message on my answer phone. The company has no debt - If they continue i plan to sue for business loss and take them to small claim court. It only cost ?50 to bring a claim. I let them settle the claim after i can prove they make several calls to my business line.
