Male caller to my elderly mum with strong accent claiming to be from BT to check poor router performance (she recently had new routerso worrying how did he know this?!?) - asked...

They had the cheek to call me again - when I was busy of course - with their wretched recorded message saying it was not too late. I think they can be prosecuted for this harassment and dishonesty, pretending people have claims when they know nothing about whether they have or not, and be heavily fined. If they are, perhaps others will not follow their example. I do not worry for myself, but people who fall for their smooth talking. Fake "Excellent Life" opinion poll, asking personal questions that can be used to target you in future. I have had many calls with this excuse, all displaying different fake UK caller numbers.

They rang today and left a voicemail following a recent application, however be aware that my application was passed to these through nouvoue a broker that I didn t sign up with. Genuine enough for a loan company.

I checked I was still registered with TPS and I was, so the next time they phoned I informed them of this and told them not to phone me again. Its been almost four hours now without a phone call, so feeling hooeful!

Cold callers who call numbers registered with TPS (Telephone Preference Service) and hang up without comment when you say "not interested".

only sms with information missed call from that number. (quite often so it is annoying).Can t even answer the phone as my phone never rings while they trying to call me. I think the best to ignore and better not to call them back. But have no idea what it is???

Received a call from this number, but no idea who. My phone rejects numbers unless the announce, and this did not.
