The guy said it was an important security call about our internet and that it was blocked. Very suspicious
HMRC scam. Said calls the police to arrest me etc.
A spam. Suggested that my British Telecom landline was about to be disconnected and I was to choose option one to pay or two to disconnect. I don't have a contract with BT.
Received a call then they hung up.

Very dangerous. Auto message claiming to be bank fraud office and advising 3 suspect transactions. Asked to press 1 if ok, 3 if not. Did not even give name of the bank! Red flag that auto - they always talk to you in person - they would also want to check that it was actually the custoner talking to! Another red flag re instruction go press button.
Called about a road traffic accident, keen to represent me. Calls twice a week. Setup the phone to identify and reject this call.

Strange phone call, like someone previously stated....I also had an issue with the guy when I asked him not to call again, he was rude and aggressive, he appeared not to know my name though he said I had put my details online. I certainly never. Something fishy.

Scam. Automated Voice saying HMRC started a fraud investigation against the receiver of the call.
"Mark from Windows Support" called me to tell me that my computer had been attacked by a virus. I was pretty sure at that point, because most of the time it is up to you to call the company if you have a problem with your computer and not the other way around. I ve been called daily by this number but I have a call blocker on my android phone called "Truecaller" (I am not a salesman) which filtered it straight away. It does have apps but is very effective for nuisance callers. Hope this helps.
