Is the NHS selling my phone number to people? This was a foreign accent, spoke very rapidly, seemed to be cold calling on what sounded like some kind of alarmist medical emergency device, not possible to make out what it was. From London.

Caller said that he was from BT. did not know who to speak to. Held the line open for several minutes when we tried to cut off call. Very persistant. I answered by stating that we were on TPS and they should not be calling us. I tried to disconnect call as I wanted to check what number he was calling from. He was still holding line open. Seeing other comments, presumably aggressive advertising. Very dangerous for susceptible people.
