I lady called me saying she had frozen a transaction from going to a offshore account in China. The currency was bitcoin. This was odd as these transactions go to a bit coin wallet then to a debit card that is registered on your account. She did no DPA to verify that I was the account holder. Then she wanted me to download a app I refused so she asked if I have a pc or laptop. I said pc she wanted to screen share. I would do no such things I told her then hug up.

Probably not a call from Orpington - there was a clicking before a connection was made suggesting a spoof number. A south asian female voice asked for me by name. I said not me and asked who she was. The call was then immediately ended at her end. In my view this is highly likely to be a dangerous scam call.
This number called my mobile, no message so no idea who it was, checking if others had a call from the number an it seems there were two today so be aware.

Asked for me by my first name, (the cheek of it). Then claimed to be from social housing repair, as we all know there is no such company (a legit one anyway). Furthermore, I know that my landlord do not deal with anyone that would just cold call tenants, especially one that uses an asian call center. Apparently from BT technical department, reporting of people interfering with my internet, foreign accent. Told them I would contact my local BT office, did not appear to like that, then I just hung up.
Call center maybe. Rings two to four times a every day even on Sunday for a number of months. Today three phone calls from whoever and it's 13:11, so I suspect there will be more today as this phone number rings me in the afternoon and evening too, even 9pm.
