I got a missed call, phoned back and they told me it was HMRC about a tax query! Whenever do you phone HMRC and get through after 2 rings :D??!! Of course its a scam!
I was called this week by an intrusive salesperson who asked me if I went for walks. I told her I didn t think this was any of her business, and rang off. She immediately rang back and told me This was not the way to do things . Harassment. We got the number from her and rang off. When I want a service, I ll do the callng!

This is apparently a genuine number for FedEx but it's been hi-jacked by a 'BT' scammer using a recorded message saying they've monitored suspicious activity. I cut the call then tried to dial 1471 but the line was still engaged and I had to try a couple more times before it cleared.
Rang me and asking for national insurance numbers, music in background claiming to be hmrc, scammers put the phone down.

Phoned me, asking if I was Darren Cambridge of Brotherton Avenue in Wakefield. They become very aggressive when I asked them where they got my number and then I hung up! I was shaking after the way they spoke to me.
Impossible to understand what the caller said, so I'm afraid I hung up.

Surely I would of had something in the post or an email of some kind instead of these young kids who call up. Im starting to wonder now. Perhaps "Anne Rob" might like to seek this one out....Find this rather odd as my credit file is fine. First thing in the morning too. Dont they think people have children or work to attend to. SCAM: the number that called was too long to be identified as a phone number - it had 006 44 in front of it, which is probably deliberate to make it impossible to search. I could hear a call centre. Indian sounding guy asked for me by name. Told him he had the wrong number & he hung up.
