SCAM Don’t answer calls from unknown numbers or areas I have no connection with. So when I see Tunisia on phone display blocked and reported to all possible-ICO/7726 and all on line forums utter utter scumbags. WhatsApp getting lately which I’ve never had. Call center. I answered the call, although I was suspicious as I didn't recognize the number. I said hello, 5 or 6 times, there was a clicking on the line, then a foreign-sounding female voice finally said hello. I said "you took your time answering, didn't you" at which point the call was disconnected.
This number called and simply cut off when answered. Checked on here but there were no comments. Called the number to find it wasn't recognised, as per an earlier call from a different number. I can only assume these are scam calls.

They rang saying it was the Inland Revenue and that I had ignored letters and owed money and to press 1 to speak to their operative which I did not do. I blocked the number. I am a pensioner with heart problems so not impressed. It was a recorded message which sounded robotic - hope this helps and hope you can take it down. I've reported it to Inland Revenue via their on line form.

I do not have bt broadband - BT can not technically supply it on this old rural line. I get b/band via radio link frmo an idependent provider which has nothing to do with BT. Guy said he was from BT technical department! WHat rubbish. He even sent me a pin to agree computer access. I advised him he as a nasty little scammer adn then hung up.

Call was at 6.41am. I rang back - not sure if that was wise - there was a mumbled (male) response, something about 'delivery' was all I could make out even though I asked which company. Told them they'd called a wrong number and hung up, feeling uneasy.
