This number called me up to ‘follow up’ after a fraud attempt on my Revolut card. I had actually contacted Revolut as I had another scam call the day before (definitely linked to this one) attempting for me to give a code to add my card to their Apple Pay. They were convincing, and said if I don’t give them answers to the security questions then they can’t block the payments. I believe they had my card details already, so if this has happened to you cancel your card for the account they seem to have and get

Automated message claiming to be from Amazon that I've been charged £95 for subscription and to press 1 or 2. Received another a few days ago from number 01354 672840. Both numbers Chatteris/March or surrounding areas.
I figured out what this is! It s when a mobile sends a text message to a landline - I rang my husband s mobile from our landline and a minute or so later got a silent call from this number. Husband s mobile sends out an automatic "I m on the phone will call you back" sms if he s on the line -- and this is what the callback was. Mystery solved! I suspect that other callers are being texted on their landlines by friends who select the wrong number to text.

Got a couple of calls selling warranty First call said I had a Bosh washing machine, I said I was busy. The next day another call saying I had a Samsung. They tried to convince me of their glowing credentials, that they ve been operating for 10years. Got transfered to a manager which I asked again if I could check on Companies House website for Applianceserve Ltd Company number 08957597 and they promptly hung up on me. Unfortunately all appears to be a lie unless the goverment website is a lie...?

TAXES / HMRC Asked for me by name, introduced as Refund my taxes or something like that, then said it was in relation to my marriage allowance refund. I replied I am not married to which the response was "oh, you are no longer married?". SCAM - Automated Robot voice claiming to be from the UK Inland Revenue (HMRC), demanding an instant phone call back. HMRC never do anything like that - they are slow and meticulous, doing everything in legal writing, never by phone. This is clearly a SCAM.
