They didn’t even know my name and I’ve been with them for 20 years….jokes, but they did say they can confirm if I give them my email address….I don’t think so pal, they must of thought I was born yesterday, and I clearly stated to them I think your lying and prove yourself. SCAM - purporting to be from HMRC advising legal action about to be taken for non-payment of tax.

This is an actual real firm's number. But the number has been taken over by some scammer who is contacting random people. I did not answer the phone in time, so rang back and the company said they had several people ringing back who had been approached by scammers. Awful for them to be used like this.

Asian gentleman called saying he is from BT open reach suggesting I have a problem with my internet as they are seeing errors from it. He demanded I install team viewer quick support app on my iPad to takeover my iPad remotely to resolve the issue. Of course I said no and stopped the conversation … clearly a scam as BT would never ask for this …
