A very well spoken man said he was calling from some company (I didn't catch the name) to do with my Scottish Widows life insurance. Just had another call from this company,whenever I receive these calls I always save number as bogus so I know whose calling before I answer and then I ll have a game with them and waste their time and money - this time I was playing thick and stupid - making them explain again and again same information THOUGH THEY DID KONW MY NAME !! had a great time !!!

Telemarketing for PPI claims. Nuisance calls as they keep calling once or twice a day, sometimes hang up without speaking. When they do speak they try to give the impression that they already have details of what you can claim for while asking intrusive questions. I decided to phone it back, and there was an automated computer voice (sounded a bit American) which said "I m sorry, an application error has occurred. Goodbye." Obviously a scam of some sort. I ve saved the number in my phone as Spam Caller , so I ll be sure not to answer it in future.
