07530836343 rang saying calling from my bank, I have two accounts and they did not say which, also rang on my landline which I rarely use. Told me there was suspect dealings and started asking questions. I don't think my bank would ring me from a mobile so I hung up.
Said they were from Microsoft about my computer. Microsoft dont do calls like this and this isn't their number. Got annoyed when I said they weren't from Microsoft. Definite scam attempt

Incredibly rude asian sounding man told me he was ringing from the citizens advice bureau about my unsecured debts. Asking for someone with a different name, informed him three times that wasn't my name but he kept talking over me. Told him I didn't have any unsecured debts he then asked me if I was dropped on my head as a child because I was a liar and obviously stupid. Absolute bunch of time wasters.

This was a recorded message from a number purporting to be a bank (which bank not specified) and telling me that 2 dodgy transactions had just been recorded. One payment to Amazon, and one international payment via an unspecified website. Obviously crap, but a potential cause of anxiety nonetheless.

Man calling about a medical pendant. May have been harmless but he was very evasive when I asked where he got my phone number (we're not on any lists and don't get cold-called much). He seemed to be reading from a script and looking up the answers, as there were long gaps between my asking a question and his reply. I told him I was going to hang up and did so.

Received this call today. It came approximately 30 minutes after a call from a Cambridge number 01223 931995. The Cambridge number went dead on answering. The 01330 563426 number allowed me to answer, and an automated message said it was the HMRC and that I would be fined. You could press 1 to talk to an agent. I hung up. You cannot ring back. This is a scam number, pretending to be a travel agent, my self I'm allready scammed £300. Beware people

I gave up at this point as it's obviously a scam. All our banks are based elsewhere so wouldn't phone from a local number and have mobile phones as first contact. Our number is recorded on Telephone Preference service but that doesn't seem to make any difference
