Had a call from 01535272203 today and it was a standard scam about Amazon Prime thanking me for renewing (I don't have Prime). Looked up the number and it seems to be The George in Bradford's telephone number. I rang hiding my number and no reply. I have blocked it

Automated female voice claiming to be from Visa about two payment of ca. £600 and £1000. I rang off, and then used 14713 to call it back repeatedly - which resulted in it ringing off at once each time. I did not use my keypad to send them any information in the initial call. MUST BE PHISHING????
Rang about Life Insurance. Said Oh yes i really do need to get something sorted so what do i need to do. Line went silent then Hung up. Given the chance i just waste their time but not a lot i can do if they hang up. Think he said UK Lifecare but could not be 100%

I had a call from this number this morning at 10.49 (approx) and a recorded message came which told me that my Visa card had been used by someone for £900. I didn't bother to listen to the whole message as it was obvious to me that it was a scam. Interestingly I waited a few minutes and then called the number back (which I don't usually bother to do) and a very nice lady answered who said that she ran a clinic. It became obvious that she was genuine and that the scammers had used her number.

Call centre noise in background. Caller asked for "Mr or Mrs *my surname*" I asked who's calling, she said they're caling about the Health & Safety check for the loft insulation. Complete fiction. I told them they had the wrong number and to remove it from their system. Obvious data phishing scam.
Someone "from Microsoft". When challenged about their life choices on attempting to scam people they first denied it and then hung up. If it's important I'm sure they have my email address. ????

potential scam, when showed intrest on a gumtree ad, insisted on messaging via whatsapp. felt dodgy as they seemed more interested in meeting than the bedframe.
Has rung me 3 or 4 times a day for a week. I answered the first call, and it appears to be some insurance type offering me an estate check after I'd done a funeral plan with another company. I declined. They've not stopped ringing. Blocked.

I think it is a sub-contracted call centre (why it might sound disingenuous?) of sales people for Sky broadband or agents on commission from Sky. They did indeed do a realtime broadband speed check on what they could offer compared to Virgin, which shut them down. It was easy then to end the call. Call center

This number has rang me twice now, the male on the other end says, you have just rang this number. Yesterday I told them no I haven't and they asked who it was, so I asked who they were. As of writing, 3 different numbers tried to call me today (020 8956 2943, 020 8956 2230 and 020 8956 2601). They all start with 020, I don’t know anyone who owns those numbers, maybe the same individual is using different numbers to call me. Likely a fraud and now it’s harassing.
