Friendly guy with asian accent purporting to be calling from Openreach and from his office in 81 Newgate Street ( which is actually BT's Head Office ). Scam, told to go away.

This was a Bt internet scam call.

As I live in Yeovil I ve been caught out twice by this company. Introduced themselves as the National Workers Organisation (? noisy line) and said I had been brought to their attention because of workplace injury caused by noise. Yeah, right!

I did not understand what she was saying and asked for clarification. The answer was: i have no time to speak and hang up the phone. You cannot trust such an"recruiter".

DON T GIVE IN TO THEIR TRICKS OF MAKING RANDOM CALLS AND THEN HOPING THAT 1%-5% OF THE ONES THAT ANSWER DO FALL FOR THEIR TRICKS. Recorded message claiming to be HMRC stating that it was taking me to court, and to press option 1 to speak to my case officer. Ridiculous scam, presumably trying to get my name, address and NI number. No government department would ever contact anyone in this way, and certainly never leave a message that inflammatory.

Didn't recognise number so didn't answer. No message left

A foreign guy called said he was with a credit fraud company, a lot of background noise, obviously a scam call. I hung up and blocked the number.

Call centre. Did not speak when i answered. Dialled it back but doesn't take incoming calks. So the usual telephone pests

Don't recognise number just know it's a Gloucester number declined and ignored.

When I answered, an Indian man asked me how I was! Said he was from Perfect Preferences and told me it wasn t a sales call. Quoted my name, phone number and address and asked me to confirm them. I told him I wouldn t as I didn t know who I was talking to. He asked for two minutes of my time and when I told him No he banged the phone down.

Got a call this morning from a lady. I could hardly understand a word she was saying. Thick accent and slow sounding voice. I repeatedly apologised for not being able to understand and asked her to repeat herself. She hung up.

Repeated calls after 18:00 that hang up on screening by my call blocking device.

Know a lot of details about an accident I had but once I said I d been paid out, hung up straight away.
