SCAM / SPAM Caller trying to obtain payment details for a TV maintenance plan that has run out. Never had a TV maintenance plan so he never got any details.... actually he hung up when I persisted on asking which company he was calling from.
0203 769 7565 - My elderly mother advised she had received a scam call, claiming to be Sky and calling her by name. Asian sounding woman (Susan) stated Sky are changing from monthly debit standing order to single annual payment, required upfront. However did not seem to have any idea about this size of the house or the amount of work involved. When I asked which days they could make a long list was reeled off... and yet the discount is because they are in the area.

Phone call purporting to be from Amazon saying prime membership was due, i should press 1 to go to an agent to make payment, they had the wrong amount and the real payment is not due yet, also the call could not be cancelled the electronic voice carried on until the message was over, this very obviously a scam and the bank agrees. This is also the third time they have tried this one pointless!
Rang early morning and hung up. Rang again later, had my name and an old address, they want to update their records !
