Just taken a call from a girl to my company saying she was from the energy care centre offering me £2000 towards new doors and windows. I clearly answered with my company name and she ignored this and carried on - so I had some fun with her saying I didn t have any doors or windows - she then said - do I have a brain and put the phone down. This number keeps ringing, an electronic voice says goodbye and it hangs up. I assume it s someone who has realised I m on the TPS but not until after their computers have dialled the number. Very irritating.

SCAM FRADULENT CALL. Call from a mobile number claiming to be the Inland Revenue informing there is fraudulent activity with my Tax Return.... I don't complete a tax return and I'm sure the inland revenue would not call out from mobile numbers.

SCAM pretending to be Amazon UK about a large value order. I hadn't placed one. Was followed by an email with the same. I went on account, asked Amazon to call me direct to check, was told it's a scam number and email. Reported to [email protected] . Never accept the call, always check with the company direct.

Straight to answer phone, no voice, sounded like a robo dialer
Really nasty, threatening scam from this number. The message said HMRC had a tax fraud case listed against my name and I should press 1 to connect to the HMRC investigating officer to discuss the case. It then went on to say that if I didn't I would be arrested for tax fraud - I knew it was not true but some people could be really scared and stressed by this horrible scam.
Automated message saying they were from Amazon, concerned about an order for an item costing £1000 made with my card, and inviting me to interact with their system. Highly dubious.
