it's a scam
This number called, knew all the details of my partners accident and the claim for his written off car, tried to explain to me that there is other money he could claim, like whiplash etc! They will get there doctor to claim u suffered extra injuries and say u talk to their solicitor! But its all a scam and they try to convince you to lie to claim extra money

Trying to sell contents insurance and utilities. Caller advised that they had been given myd7d number by Reeds Rains, i never gave pernission for then to pass my details on for sales calls.
Called me on my mobile said they were pension review team person said he was called James.Told him I m not discussing with him he said I d ticked to opt in. Told him I m not discussing he asked me why & I said I d go to Citizens Advice if I need advice. He told me they tell me to go to a very expensive IFA at this point I ended call & have now blocked the number. Usually don t answer unknown caller no but waiting for a delivery.

After answering, the caller hung up. I returned the call and got a dead line response, suggesting this number is a scam of some sort. My advice would be to ignore or block this number and not to phone it back. If it is legitimate they would have left a message.

Do not ignore this number. It is not a scam. Because of the comments I ignored it and left it a day to go into the bank and ask if it is genuine. It is and my account was being hacked. These fraud people are brilliant and stopped my account being emptied.

Got so fed up with receiving calls, I added the number to my contacts and then blocked it (you can do this with an iphone, but unsure on other phones).

Fraud Attempting to gain banking details, after stating there had been unusual activity on my bank account. I had checked my account this morning , knew it to be untrue so cut off the call. they tried to ring twice more in 10 minutes but declined, then blocked. My bank unaware so reported to Action Fraud.
