An innocuous text message "Where are you? I am waiting for you?" but from an unrecognised number and the fact that it has already been searched 124 times in the last 2 weeks make me suspect that this is some sort of SCAM.

SCAM - rang first from a London landline. Stating this is Scorpions and I have applied for a loan for £2000 with £99 monthly repayment over 24 months. Explained I haven’t. Began insulting me after he said I should stop wasting people’s time if I don’t need the loan. Politely asked to watch his tone. Started screaming “Shut Up! Shut Up!”. Hung up. Called from the mobile number just to say “Fuck You”.

SCAM Caller 'Siobhan' on 03332420495 stating from Taylor Stirling Legal. This company is dissolved. The call was a scam attempt to extract personal data. Rang off as soon as the realised they were rumbled and I was running reverse tracing on them. South African IP and call number spoofing. Beware, very clever question structure to get you to reveal sensitive data.

07401878848 is a mobile phone number at an indian call centre, i traced it back through the network. Someone pretending to be from amazon stating that my details have been used to order some high value items and that to cancel it i would have to do as they instructed. They wanted remote access to my computer/tablet/phone so they could steal my data. The idiots didn't realise that they had phoned an it company. when i informed them of their mistake they hung up.

Claims to be from FCA and asking for personal details in order to check an account. Highly suspicious.

Appears to be a phishing call. I answered and an automated voice just said "goodbye" and the call ended. This typically is an attempt to have you call the number back for any number of reasons, typically non of which are good.

Suggests they are from your bank (but they don't tell you which one because they don't know) Informs you by automated call that large transfers have been made out of your account (which is rubbish). Fraud SCAM . Have this number blocked but they still attempt calls. Absolutely fed up with these scammers. They won't admit who or what they are when questioned and are content to spoof their number and attempt scams. Do not speak to these crooks.
