This number 01784321234 claimed he was from BT. He said I had internet issues. Once I turned the tables and started questioning him, he became flustered. He started contradicting himself. He hung up once he realised he was being reported as a scam because BT would always call from a 0800 number. Reported incident.

(Even if you don’t have a VISA account! It encourages you to press 1 to speak to an adviser (someone will answer but however reassuring they are they DON’T work for VISA. SCAM Coputer voice said they were BT and there was suspicious activity on our phone line and they were going to disconnect it. Press 1 for ? or Press 2 to speak to someone about it. As we have not been a BT customer for nearly a year and do not use there phone line. We are with Virgin that does not use BT lines. It was a scam ! I did not press any number as it would probably cost us money. This company have 100's of numbers under the same prefix and change every last numbers every few day.
