Recieved Text message on my mobile at 01:36a.m. ! It was described as from NatWest telling me I'd get a call from this no about a Debit Card payments and my card was blocked . I rang the NAT WEST fraud team's number from their web pages and it verified that they had called me on my mobile so it was from them. Then verified several recent transactions I had made. Have been constantly harassed by this number over the last few weeks, I used to be a Sky customer until asking for a homemove which THEY were unable to complete but I was stilled charged for, I am now in the process of putting in a complaint to Ofcom with regard to this and the debt collectors they employed and intend to follow this up with a small claims court action to recover fee s I should not have been charged.

I had a phone call of This number on Monday and the lovely lady on the other end of the phone spoke with such great manners, she said I could possibly be entitled to a free pension review and went through the criteria with me to my delight I did, she explained that someone had to come to my house and show me the liscence and legitimate documents, the courier came and was lovely I have realised I was getting over charged and switched my pension provider to some thing a lot cheaper? Called both my landline and my mobile on a Sunday evening. Clearly a Birmingham number. I know the university does fundraising drives amongst alumni but these calls stress not just a nuisance but very intrusive. I understand the Uni says it wants to improve the lot of students but given the vast fees students have to pay that really do not equate to what they are provided with, I think it's a joke, not to say insulting, chasing alumni for money in this devious manner.
