Said he was calling from citizens advice bureau about payments I d made, when I told him to explain himself he hung up. I tried calling the no. Back to have a go at him but constant engaged sound.
Answered the call. Noone spoke. Just a lot of background office noise for about a minute and then the call ended.

I just researched this number as it appeared on my phone 4 times in the last month and one site said its a company named Domestic & General. I just wrote to them to remove me from their marketing list.

This is UNICEF call and harasses me daily. The calls are to a UK mobile but since I live in France each call costs both me and UNICEF money - far in excess of my original text donation. This number has been spoofed so that it appears as the CLI of the caller when it has no relationship to the people originating the call. This number was assigned to a legitimate business in Surrey. They have now changed their number. The spoofing still carries on and people are getting missed call messages with this number on their mobiles and landlines.
