SCAM. CLAIMS TO BE BANK SECURITY

SCAM Called today 23032022 automated voice saying £79 was coming out of my account today, press 1 for account details or 2 for other enquiries. claiming to be from Amazon but they do not have my mobile number.

This number is portraying to be a legitimate Travel agency, they have cloned and fraudulently used their credentials. Please DO NOT in any way deal with them. The genuine company has reported the Fraudsters to Action Fraud thanks to a member of the public. Many thanks The genuine company

Received MMS message. I did not click. Checked number. Appears parcel scam.

Played a bunch of weird beeping noises, there was no human.

SPAM Fraud Recorded message, told me my visa card had been used and to press number to get information.

Phoned twice because my computer had been "hacked". I told the woman that I didn't want to speak to her and put the phone down. She then rang back and told me rudely to listen to what she had to say. Once again I hung up.

Bank security scam call received from this number by another 01244 Chester number.

Automatic call generated purporting to be from Microsoft. This is a scam.

Fraud automated call telling me that a payment of over£900 was requested from my visa account and to hit one of a series of numbers on my keypad. Needless to say, I didn't and ended the call.

Had 3 calls recently with the same recording from different numbers. They say they are from my bank, but don't say which one, big red flag. They say l have 2 unusual transactions, including from Amazon. No activity on accounts, obvious scam.

Had a call supposedly from Amazon so say my subscription could not be collected. This is a fake number

SCAM Fraud BEWARE ! This number has only recently appeared on this site (August 2023) from other people checking. Caller says you've suspicious transactions on your card, knows your name and last four digits of the card. Asks you to check the balance, in my case without any security questions. Hung up on me and didn't call me back when I told him I keep very little in the account, whilst I was silently checking the account in the background. Call your card provider and ask for a new card if this

Searched Google and found they are being looked into by the FCA as they are unlicensed and are trying to sell services or products with out being registered. Called from Citizens advice group. I questioned the male caller with a south Asian accent in some detail. He was very helpful. They were calling about debts and he asked what debts we had. I asked him where they got our number and he replied FCA ????????????. I then asked him for the person or department name as I have previously worked with FCA in the past, he didn’t give it to me. He was very polite and said he couldn’t continue. He also said they weren’t authorised in the UK!
