Just received a call to tell me that my debit card has been used

Been rang three times by this number twice they hung up as I answered. Not calling back in case it s a scam. If anyone has anymore info please share.

Answered the phone and got a recorded message (male, English voice) "our records indicate that you were injured in an accident within the last three years, press 5 to speak to an operator". I pressed 5 and initially heard an office environment then was cut off. On ringing back, I heard the ringing tone but it almost instantly changed to an engaged tone. Don t know who this company is, but they need stopping.

Calls then hangs up as soon as you answer.

Text body reads: "We have been trying to contact you regarding your accident, we now have details of how much you are due, just reply CONFIRM and we will call you back". Texting back with CONFIRM (or anything) will probably just let them know your number is in use so they can sell it. Don t reply.

Trying to find out identity of caller

I m generally pretty careful giving out my details but for some reason this time wasn t. The company called me I was given a name John Quinn and they seemed to have alot of my details already and were very pleasant. But looking back they were desperate to get my details and evasive of giving an actual amount. They promised me an email the same day and a call at 15.30. Neither of which I got. I spoke to the bank, they weren t very helpful either. Eventually I cancelled my card an froze my account. Not ideal

caller said he was from the industrial workers office , questionable name, was fairly insistent that I worked in industry, never have. When I said "that s odd" he just hung up. Obviously some scam

This number rings me twice a day on my mobile, I have blocked it but the ring on another 0845 number

They just phoned my elderly father-in-law on his land line and luckily my husband had just arrived at the house when they phoned. They told him that they were the National Crime Agency and that there had been fraud on his bank account. Received a call from a female. Stated Pension Review Service. Told me my name and address and DOB. Then passed me to a "Manager" and stated that a signing agent would come to my address. I agreed a time for them to attend so I could check them out. Obviously they didnt arrive. I checked the Pension Review Service Website which unsurprisingly had this number listed for a company posing as themselves. I called the number back and an auto-message says "Thanks for calling Think About Money, Please Leave a name
