Automated call to do with national insurance number says to press 1 to speak to someone but they will only try to phish for personal details or will try and get money out of you.

After a significant delay (always suspicious), "Hi, this is Matthew. I'm calling about the government scheme for insulation, which you had installed in your loft." As soon as I said "Oh, no you're not" because we have no loft and have not had any insulation of any description installed for more than 10 years, he immediately hung up.
Just had a call from this number which is the local STD. Female answered but then hung up on me. When I checked on 1471 and it showed a local number I rang back but was hung up ...
unknown caller. when I tried to call back it goes straight to a message on an answering machine, claiming "your call is important to us, stay on the line". so I hung up immediately. now blocked off my phone. do not trust.

I received a call this afternoon from David from London Police Station informing me that fraudulent transcations are taking place in my account (approx. ?3100) and it would be best for me to relocate my funds into safe keepings. kept ringing, hung up. its a computer calling many homes at once, and when you pick up, if they have staff available they will talk. if no staff, the call hangs up and calls another 100+ homes. very annoying. if not a scam, probably selling junk or ppi that you wouldnt have bought otherwise. AVOID
