Scam recording from my visa card Co advising 2 fraud transactions for big amts, called my card Co from no on bk of my card and no transactions have taken place, be careful all especially the elderly, try use a credit card at all times then transfer from Yr debit card to pay it, never take out he house Yr debit card, as bank don't always reimburse u for fraud, the credit card Co will if you have shown you took care reporting any suspicious activity and were careful with Yr details online. This was a call about life insurance, and could save £1000 of the policy. They couldn't tell me who my policy was with, or the policy number and had the incorrect post code, so I played along with them, requesting that they give me those details first. They then changed their story and said it was a survey and asked again who my policy was with, and so it went on and on and they gave up. Number blocked from future calls, but that won't work as they have dozens of numbers. Always a woman of foreign descent.

Robotic voice first, then Indian voice Claiming a Visa Card has been misused, and starts asking for personal details, I refused and put the phone down. Called again early this morning, put phone down again. As the number does not match any relevant telephone numbers of our Bank, I Believe it is a SCAM call.

I answered without speaking, there was no sound from the caller and then the call ended. Suspect it's a scam.

Recorded message claiming that my order from Amazon had been processed and that several hundred pounds had been charged to my card. Also claimed that if I had not made the order to press 1 to speak to customer services. Obviousl a scam so I hung up. DO NOT PRESS 1.

*SCAM* Amazon Prime Renewal! (Spoofed number - Probably someones home number!) Obviously A SCAM - I don't have 'Amazon Prime' account. Recorded message/menu, that sounds totally REAL!! NB: WHY would a GLOBAL company be calling me from same Area Code!? Probably to panic people into giving out personal details (ie Bank info)!!! Best Advise: NEVER answer call from an UNEXPECTED number you DONT KNOW, let answer phone take it. Saves you a lot of hassle!

SCAM claimed to be insurance on domestic appliances up for renewal - quoted my name, address and phone number (all as per phone directory) at me,then asked for my date of birth for verification - I asked him to tell me my date of birth so that I could verify it and (surprise, surprise) the line went dead.
