Have just called my office claiming to be police and when i requested they give me there collar number and reason for call they asked me to confirm my card details as they have found my card , when i stated i was a investigator of fraud and all calls were recorded and passed to police they hung up so staff called back and an african man answered and said u called me never called u me not know nufin and me not in london me no no where i am , me is no fraud ster , yea rite , avoid this number with the plague

Indian female voice saying there is a fault on my BT internet line and she would help me fix it! (I am not with BT) I just hung up.

Does relate to an account setup. It s a company relates to crypto and it s a courtesy call. Caller is actually in Cyprus not London Dodgy number but thanks BT for allowing such things legal but misleading. Call genuine.

I had a guarded conversation with the caller who, as mentioned above, was calling on behalf of the RSPCA. Apparently he wanted to confirm details for Gift Aid purposes, which raised suspicion in my mind as there are always boxes to tick when completing donation forms for any charity. He did have my name and postcode already and was very polite, but clearly working from a script. I have not ever donated by text.

Ringing about my 'road accident' went along with it to see what info I could find out. Saying they got our number becuase I contacted my insurence company and its flag...
