Indian man rang me at about 10:30am 26/7/2021 saying that they'd just been upgrading my Broadband and noticed spam being sent to me and hacker activity. Wanted me to turn on my computer. I put the phone down. Have fallen for one of these scams before with someone getting me to download AnyDesk in order for the caller to remotely take over control of my laptop. BEWARE!!

This is a spam call from people purporting to be from BT Openreach advising there is a problem with my broadband connection. This is the fourth call I've had in a fortnight, all from different numbers, all callers with strong Asian accent and totally unable to deviate from the script they have in front of them. I’ve received a text from that number this morning message saying from Lloydsbank and I don’t have account with them any more. Claiming if payment made from Waitrose and £3400 to Apple store. If no to ring them.
I keep getting calls from this silly number and they leave a message that just says 'dial 9 to opt out'?! Then when I try to call back, it is ALWAYS engaged!

Seems to be the same company "Excellent Life" that has been complained about under another number.
