She wouldn t say why or give any indication as to what the call was about until I went through a security check. I was not convinced by their offer - independent financial review of pension with free legal adviser present? she said they had been set up by the Industry in light of all of the complaints. I wouldn t disclose any details from a call like this - they wanted policy details. It may or may not be legitimate but it was a cold call and she seemed reluctant to put anything in writing about who the Pension Review Cent

This is a PPI call. I pressed 5 to speak to the call centre. This is how it works. They have call centres which are not a part of the PPI company, they just make the cold call with their automated system, the automated dialing software offers you the option of speakign to someone if you press 5. you will speak to someone at a company who deals with the cold calling. This company is NOT the company dealing with the PPI stuff, I am guessing so that they themselves are not responsible for the cold calling part
