scam loft insulation, blocked this number and they rang again from a different but similar number. I reported both numbers to Ofcom

'phone scam? Claiming to be about to disconnect internet due to illegal activity over internet - press 1 to speak to some supervisor - and incur £5/minute call charges??

Worrying as he knew my surname. Said he was calling about my life insurance policy. I don't have a life insurance policy!

Fraud or scam - asked me abut a report I'd made about repairs required to my home. I'd made no such report, put the phone down.

Caller with Indian accent said he was from Amazon and was calling about a purchase my wife had supposedly made for an Iphone 11, he said his name was Daniel Smith when I asked. If this number is an O2 number , I suggest that O2 pass on the details of the holder of that sim card to Amazon or the police...

sales call about life insurance - avoid

Got a call relating to a credit card payment from my account, I think it's some kind of a scam because my credit card provider has never called me to confirm a payment from my account.

This number called me saying he was from Debt Advice and I had a couple of outstanding accounts on my profile. Obviously a scam

VISA and Amazon SCAM using a recorded voice.

There are hundred or so text charges showing on phone provider account to me. But it they were not sent for my phone, there is no record of these text messages being sent on my phone's log.

Received a text asking if I fancy winning a MacBook Air? With a link to follow stating There we’re 10 up for grabs! What I don’t understand is how they even know my name. I tried dialling the number and it is not recognised. SCAM!!!!

I have had two phone calls today from this company First one stating that I owe a parking charge notice that was 60 Now stating its 175 Said if I paid 20 today and if I give my bank details that they would not issue any further court action I explained that I was sat with my mental health support worker at the time and he said he would call back When they phoned back I stated I was unable to make a payment the Scottish guy became very passive aggressive and told me that he would be taking further action and

Fraud Received a text message from this number claiming to be the USPS. Including a suspicious link.

Called my 11 year old daughter. Tried to scam her.

The callers from this number are scammers. They called claiming to be 3 Mobile and wanted me to upgrade to a new contract when I only just renewed my contract with the real 3 Mobile a couple of months back and my existing contract is locked for another 10 months. When I asked the idiot to email me the offer to review, they asked me for my email address and if they were really 3 Mobile they would already have it in their records. Called from "my bank security" telling me that my card (no ref to debit or credit )had been used for £300 to Amazon and over £1000 to an international transaction. Usual press 1, 2 etc. DO NOT RESPOND. This is a premium call no. and you will be charged upwards of £20 just for dialling and then a high charge per second. DO NOT ANSWER OR HANG UP.

Keeps calling every day, doesn't leave a message.

Uber taxi driver that apparently moonlights as a food delivery driver too. Doesn't confirm the taxi job but says you don't turn up, costing you some of the fare. Just Google the number to see how much of a prat he is! Crybaby!

Had 3 calls recently with the same recording from different numbers. They say they are from my bank, but don't say which one, big red flag. They say l have 2 unusual transactions, including from Amazon. No activity on accounts, obvious scam.

I am suspicious of this number because after receiving a possible ?phishing call I made a 1471 call to discover the number the call came from I was given this number, which I rang. It was answered by a man who told me he was in Kent and i told him why I had called his number but nothing else(my name or location) i suggested he should look into how this could have happened and that his line might be compromised somehow.

My work phone was called by this number, and got a recorded message, ostensibly from my bank, saying the two large transactions, one of which was to Amazon for £999 had been blocked, and said that I had a choice to either release the transactions or speak to a representative. This number is supposedly based in Slough, but that's not where my bank is, so I ignored it.

Lady with Indian accent called from "the pharmacy" about my prescription items ,would I be in to receive them this afternoon? She knew my name, address and postcode. I questioned her repeatedly - was she perhaps calling the wrong person - and she told me that it was glucosamine "which we're sending out to all pensioners".
