Called twice today, 2nd time answered: asked for my partner by name & claimed to be from People's Energy who are our energy supplier and are based in Edinburgh so that matches the area code (0131). My partner wasn't happy to confirm security information for an unsolicited call though and they were happy to end the call requesting we call them. The usual recorded scam marketing call from these highly persistent scum-bags showing 08437240176 on the CLID, ("Your postcode allows you to access the UK s eco-fund.... ..blah, blah.... "you may be eligible for loft insulation or cavity wall insulation under the government s warm home scheme"....blah blah" etc etc...). Got a call from them the other dqy, sounded quite professional asked for my husband but he wasn t home. Alarm bells started to ring when l asked for a reference number and the guy said CD, for credit debit! Very dodgy.

A male called saying his name was Chris and that he was calling about my Dyson. I told him he must have a wrong number. He then said "Do you not have a Dyson". When told "No", he apologised and rang off. I assume a marketing scam of some kind.
