Scammer claiming to be from O2, offering to reduce my bill by 30%. Didn't confirm my name, if it matches the account holder name, or any account details besides the phone number (which they'd just called, so duh...). Just started asking for the verification code they send you by text when accessing your account. The one where the message specifically states not to give the code to anyone, even people claiming to be O2 staff... Probably not calling from Edinburgh either, probably a spoofed number.
They have called us in Athens Greece , 04.15 in the night. Nobody spoke and they hang up.

SCAM Automated American woman talking about a letter that had been returned to HMRC. Didn’t pursue but know it to be a scam.
Medical = told me they were Public Health and had I had any major health problems recently. I sharply told them that was none of their business and they hung up. They had my name to ask if it was me on the line which is a bit worrying.
Tried to say they were a company (could they catch what the company was after three attempts at asking. A yway as soon as the Asian man said "were running a promotion on your number".... well he got a mouth full and a polite goodbye hahaha

Answered the call, the person at the other end said hello once, then hung up the phone. No idea who it is, gave no information out and gave up the call

I received a call from someone who said they were from BT and that they had detected that my BT landline had a low broadband speed... This is unlikely as I don't use BT!!!! This is obviously a scam. Checked the 01322225284 number that came up on my display and found that the caller was phoning from the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel at Dartford Bridge, UK! Beware, do not give personal or banking details!!!!

I was their customer 2 years ago but then found out from another broker (when I switched life policy) what they promised me will never going to happen, like having life policy till age of 80 etc., so seems they are set on selling only, not advising correctly. Calls from this number (and those ending with a few digits different) regularly received on office and home line. In all cases caller fails to leave message. If a return call is attempted the message is "number not recognised". A typical automated call centre - probably insulation scam or similar.
